The carrier including the SK4 stand-alone plates protects up to caliber .308 Win (7.62x51) P80, which is used, for example, in the G3 assault rifle of the German Bundeswehr.
Certification was carried out according to the VPAM BSW7 guideline and, to put it simply, requires firing 3 shots of .308 Win at a distance of 10 meters, temperature ranges from +70° to -20° C with a total of 5 test samples. You can find more detailed information in the guideline itself.
